1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Perfect Score website or services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services or our website.
2. About Us
Perfect Score Pty Ltd (ACN 615 704 633) holds Australian Credit Licence 562270 and is a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), membership number 110806.
Perfect Score is not a lender, credit provider, financial adviser or legal adviser. Nothing we provide should be taken as legal advice, financial advice, lending advice or a guarantee of any financial outcome.
3. Our Services
Perfect Score provides financial education and credit file improvement services. Depending on your situation, our services may include:
- Reviewing your credit files
- Lodging disputes with credit providers or credit reporting bodies based on information you provide
- Providing general financial education relating to budgeting, credit behaviour and money management
- Communicating with creditors or credit reporting bodies where you have authorised us to do so
- Helping you and your broker understand your credit file information for the purpose of improving your finance eligibility
All services are delivered digitally, by phone, email, SMS or through our online platforms. No physical goods are supplied.
4. Eligibility
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. You must also be a resident of Australia.
5. Privacy and Data Handling
We collect, use and store your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy. By engaging our services, you consent to us collecting, using and disclosing your personal information and credit information as permitted by law or as authorised by you in writing. You also authorise us to obtain information from credit reporting bodies, brokers or financial institutions where that information is relevant to the services you have requested.
You agree to give us accurate and complete information. We are not responsible for delays or outcomes that arise from inaccurate, incomplete or withheld information.
6. Marketing Communications
From time to time we may send you information about our services by email or SMS. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe option in the message, or by contacting us. We handle all marketing communications in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
7. Fees and Payment
Our fees are based on the number of defaults on your file and the complexity of your credit file. We provide a written quote after your free assessment. Payment must be made in line with the schedule you agree to at sign-up.
- Payment plans must be maintained as agreed
- If a payment is declined or overdue, we may contact you to arrange payment
- Late or missed payments may delay or suspend delivery of your service
- We may suspend or cancel services if payments are not maintained
Where services are suspended or cancelled due to non-payment, no refund is payable, except where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Your Cooling-Off Rights
In certain circumstances, the Australian Consumer Law provides consumers with cooling-off rights for unsolicited consumer agreements, such as some agreements entered into over the phone or away from a supplier's business premises.
Where those laws apply, you may cancel the agreement within the applicable statutory cooling-off period. If you have a cooling-off right, we will advise you of your rights and how to exercise them.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
If you want to cancel, please email support@perfectscore.com.au. Refunds are only provided where required by the Australian Consumer Law, or where a cooling-off right applies.
A refund may be issued if:
- A major failure in our service occurs
- You are entitled to a remedy under the consumer guarantees
- You were charged more than the amount agreed in writing
Refunds are processed to the original payment method only. Outside your cooling-off rights and the Australian Consumer Law, change of mind cancellations do not qualify for a refund.
10. Results and Guarantees
We do not guarantee the removal of any default, the correction of any listing, an increase in your credit score, approval of finance, or any specific response from creditors or credit reporting bodies. All outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including creditor records, legislation and the accuracy of the information you give us.
We do guarantee that we will perform our services with due care, skill and professionalism, and in accordance with Australian law.
11. Your Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide true, complete and current information at all times
- Respond to our requests for information promptly
- Cooperate with your assigned consultant
- Keep your login details secure and confidential
- Not mislead us or provide falsified documents
- Make your payments on time as agreed
You are responsible for all activity on your account, and for any consequences that arise from incomplete or inaccurate information you provide.
12. Use of the Website
You agree not to:
- Break any applicable laws
- Use the website for any unauthorised or illegal purpose
- Copy, reverse engineer or misuse any part of the website or its content
- Send malware, spam or unauthorised communications
All content, including text, images, logos and training materials, remains the intellectual property of Perfect Score and may not be copied, shared or distributed without our written consent.
13. Broker and Third-Party Referrals
We may refer you to third-party service providers such as brokers, lenders or other finance-related businesses, including Ausloans Finance Group and Drive Approved. These third parties operate independently of Perfect Score. We do not accept liability for any advice, decisions, products, outcomes or services provided by third parties.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, remedy, guarantee, warranty or other term or condition implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited, at our option, to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having the services resupplied. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
15. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve any issue quickly and fairly. If you have a complaint:

We will acknowledge your complaint promptly, usually within 7 business days, and we will give you a final response within 30 calendar days. If we cannot resolve your complaint, or you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA):

16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website, with the date it was last updated shown at the top. If you keep using our services after we update the terms, that counts as accepting the revised terms.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia. You and Perfect Score submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
