Perfect Score Pty Ltd (ACN 615 704 633) ("Perfect Score", "we", "us", "our") provides financial education and credit file improvement services.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and by the obligations relating to credit reporting information under Part IIIA of the Privacy Act and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code.
2. What Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide our services.

- Contact details (email and phone)
- Employment and financial information
Credit-related information:
- Credit reports and credit scores
- Default listings and repayment history
- Credit accounts and liabilities
- Correspondence with credit providers

We only collect sensitive information with your consent, and only where it is reasonably necessary for our services.

- From credit reporting bodies (Equifax and Experian)
- From credit providers, debt collectors and government agencies
- From third parties you have authorised

4. Why We Collect, Use and Hold Your Information
We collect and use your personal information to:
- Provide financial education and credit file improvement services
- Obtain and review your credit file
- Investigate and dispute credit listings where there are grounds to do so
- Communicate with credit reporting bodies and credit providers where you have authorised us to do so
- Manage your account, payments and service delivery
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
We do not guarantee outcomes such as the removal of defaults, as results depend on third parties and legal requirements.
5. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose your personal and credit-related information to:
- Credit reporting bodies (Equifax and Experian)
- Credit providers, lenders and debt collectors
- The Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA)
- Your legal representatives, our consultants and our service providers
- Government agencies, where required or authorised by law
These disclosures are necessary to carry out your instructions and provide our services. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Credit Reporting Information
We collect, use and disclose credit-related information in accordance with Part IIIA of the Privacy Act and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code.
This includes:
- Requesting your credit file
- Assessing the accuracy of listings
- Requesting corrections to your credit information
- Communicating with credit reporting bodies and credit providers
You have the right to:
- Access your credit information
- Request corrections to inaccurate or misleading information
- Obtain a free credit report from a credit reporting body (subject to eligibility)
Only incorrect or misleading information can be removed from a credit report. Accurate information cannot be removed simply on request.
A copy of the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code is available at oaic.gov.au. You can also ask us not to use or disclose your credit-related information for direct marketing or for pre-screening of credit offers, and we will honour that request.
7. Overseas Disclosure
Some of our third-party service providers, such as our customer relationship management (CRM) and data storage platforms, store or process data overseas, including in the United States. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with Australian privacy law.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include:

- Secure document storage

We keep your information only for as long as we need it to provide our services or to comply with our legal obligations.

We handle marketing communications in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We do not use your credit-related information for direct marketing without your consent.

12. Complaints
If you believe we have breached the Privacy Act or mishandled your personal information, you can lodge a complaint with us by emailing support@perfectscore.com.au. Please include your name, contact details and a clear summary of the issue. We will investigate and respond as soon as practicable, and usually within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):
